Insurance advisory & spatial design

Protection for the life you build. Vision for the space you live in.

Moxie Infosystem works at the intersection of financial security and the built environment. We help families and businesses choose health cover with clarity — and design interiors and architecture that hold their value long after the handover.

Two practices, one standard of care

We read the fine print. We also draw the line.

Most people encounter insurance and design at opposite ends of a project — a policy bought in a hurry, a renovation managed on the side. Moxie brings them into the same room, because both demand the same things: careful listening, technical literacy, and a refusal to hide behind jargon.

Health insurance advisory

Cover that behaves the way you expect when it matters.

Health cover in India is not a commodity. It is a contract with fine print that determines what happens at the worst possible moment. We read that fine print — room-rent caps, co-pay clauses, waiting periods, sub-limits, network exclusions — and explain it in language you can act on.

  • Individual and family floater plans, compared across 20+ insurers
  • Critical illness, hospital cash and super top-up riders
  • Claims advocacy — documentation, follow-up and escalation
  • IRDAI-registered advisory, with commission disclosed upfront

The work starts with a structured conversation: age, family structure, medical history, existing cover, employer benefits and budget. From there we shortlist two or three policies that actually fit — not the ones with the loudest brochure. We stay with you through underwriting, renewal and the claim itself, because a policy is only as good as the person who answers the phone when you are standing at a hospital admission desk.

Interiors & architecture

Spaces that are designed for how you actually live.

A well-designed room is not a mood board. It is a sequence of decisions about light, proportion, material and the way a person moves through a space. We work from the first sketch to the final coat of paint — drawings, approvals, vendors, site supervision and styling — so the result is coherent rather than assembled.

  • Residential interiors, renovations and furniture planning
  • Commercial workplaces, retail and hospitality environments
  • Architecture, space planning and Vastu-conscious layouts
  • Turnkey execution with specified materials for Indian conditions

We specify materials for heat, monsoon and dust — not for a photograph. We design storage for the things you own, lighting for the hours you actually use a room, and ventilation for the way an Indian kitchen really works. Our drawings are buildable, our estimates are itemised, and our site visits are scheduled before a problem becomes a rework.

Why one firm for both

Foresight is a single discipline.

Insurance and design are both acts of foresight. One protects the assets you have accumulated; the other shapes the environment in which your life unfolds. Both require you to make decisions today for a version of tomorrow you cannot fully see.

When those decisions are made in isolation, the result is familiar: a policy that covers the wrong things, a renovation that looks right but functions badly, a budget that splits in two because no one mapped the whole. Moxie exists to close that gap. We bring the same diagnostic discipline to a health portfolio that we bring to a floor plan — and we stay accountable through execution, not just advice.

“A policy and a plan are both promises about the future. We treat them that way.” — The Moxie practice note
How we work

A process built for decisions that are hard to reverse.

Whether you are buying health cover or rebuilding a home, the cost of a bad decision is measured in years, not weeks. Our process is deliberately slow at the start and fast at the finish.

01

Listen

A structured conversation about what you have, what you need and what you are trying to avoid. No product pitch in the first meeting.

02

Diagnose

We map the gaps — in cover, in cash flow, in space, in structure — and put them in writing before we recommend anything.

03

Recommend

Two or three clear options, with the trade-offs stated plainly. You choose; we do not hide behind a comparison table.

04

Stand by you

Claims support, site supervision, renewals and reviews. The relationship begins at signature, not ends there.

What working with Moxie feels like

Plain language. Documented decisions. No disappearing act.

We are a small practice on purpose. That means the person who understands your family’s medical history is the same person who reviews your renewal, and the person who walks your site is the same person who drew the detail.

  • Everything in writing Recommendations, exclusions, estimates and site instructions are documented. Memory is not a project management tool.
  • Time for the difficult questions We would rather spend an extra meeting on “what if” than discover the gap during a claim or a snag list.
  • One accountable team Insurance and design sit under the same roof, so nothing falls between the advisor and the architect.
Careers at Moxie

Build a practice, not just a career.

Moxie is deliberately small, and that shapes the kind of people who thrive here. We are not looking for specialists who want to disappear into a single lane. We are looking for professionals who want to understand the whole picture — the family’s medical history and the room’s orientation, the policy exclusion and the joinery detail — and who are willing to be accountable for both.

If you join us, you will not be handed a script. You will be handed a client relationship, a drawing set, and the responsibility to think. We invest in people who want to grow into trusted advisors and designers, not just efficient executors.

  • Insurance advisory roles IRDAI-certified advisors and claims specialists who want to work with real families, not call-centre scripts. You will own the relationship from first review to claim settlement.
  • Architecture & interior design Architects, interior designers and site supervisors who can draw, specify and execute for Indian conditions. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and site coordination is expected.
  • Operations & client experience People who can hold the details — renewals, documentation, vendor follow-ups — and make the process feel calm for the client. This is not a back-office role; it is the connective tissue of the practice.

Work culture

A studio culture, not a corporate one.

We do not have a foosball table or a “hustle” slogan on the wall. What we have is a working environment built around focus, honesty and the belief that good decisions take time. The pace is steady, the standards are high, and the hierarchy is flat enough that the best idea wins regardless of who brings it.

We work in the open — literally and figuratively. Advisors and designers sit together, share client context, and review each other’s work. That cross-pollination is the whole point of Moxie. A claims specialist who overhears a design review learns something about how a home actually functions; a designer who sits in on a policy conversation learns what a family is really protecting.

Time for deep work

We protect blocks of uninterrupted time for drawings, policy comparisons and client preparation.

Direct feedback

Critique is specific, documented and kind. We do not let problems linger in silence.

Accountability without theatre

No performative late nights. We plan properly, communicate early and deliver what we promised.

Learning in the open

Case reviews, site visits and policy deep-dives are shared across the team, not siloed.

Questions we hear

The things people ask before they trust us with a decision.

If your question is not here, ask it directly. We answer in plain language, including the parts that are inconvenient.

How does Moxie get paid for insurance advice?

We are paid by the insurer in the form of commission, and we disclose that amount before you commit to a policy. You do not pay us a separate advisory fee for standard health cover. If a fee-based engagement makes more sense for a complex corporate or family portfolio, we will say so and quote it in writing.

Can you help if I already have a policy and I am unhappy with it?

Yes. A large part of our work is policy review. We map your existing cover against your actual needs, identify overlaps and gaps, and tell you whether porting, topping up or replacing is the more sensible route. We do not recommend a switch unless the numbers and the terms support it.

Do you handle the claim process, or only the sale?

We handle claims support. That includes checking discharge documents, flagging pre-authorisation requirements, following up with the insurer’s claims desk and escalating where a claim is stuck. We cannot guarantee an insurer’s decision, but we can make sure the paperwork is not the reason a valid claim is delayed.

What does “turnkey” mean in your design practice?

It means we take responsibility from concept to handover: measured drawings, 3D views, material specification, vendor coordination, site supervision, quality checks and final styling. You get one point of contact and one itemised budget, rather than a set of drawings you then have to shop around.

Do you take on small residential projects?

We do. A single room, a kitchen renovation or a two-bedroom flat is not too small for a disciplined process. The scope changes, but the sequence — listen, diagnose, draw, specify, execute — does not.

Start a conversation

Tell us what you are trying to protect — or what you are trying to build.

A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It usually lasts 30–40 minutes and ends with a written note on what we heard and what we would look at next.
